BANKSIDE, MONTSERRAT, January 3, 2025 - The Bank of Commonwealth is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Chutamas Vongvorakit, as the Head of Indo-China within the Central Bank reporting directly to the Head of Asia, Mr. Low Chun Keong.
Dr. Chutamas Vongvorakit is a Thai social entrepreneur and philanthropist, renowned for her leadership in promoting sustainable business practices and social impact initiatives. She co-founded Anametrics Holdings Limited, a multi-billion dollar organization specializing in providing innovative business solutions to build and scale profitable, sustainable enterprises dedicated to social and environmental change.
Under her leadership, Anametrics has expanded its services to include structured finance, private equity, global trade finance, market and investor services, trust services, commodities trading, and investment banking on a global scale.
Dr. Vongvorakit is also an ardent promoter of social and environmental impact issues, emphasizing the importance of eradicating poverty and transitioning from fossil fuels to cleaner, renewable energy sources. She has been instrumental in fostering international collaborations to promote high-efficiency, clean power generation technologies.
In addition to her business ventures, Dr. Vongvorakit is actively involved in initiatives aimed at overcoming food deprivation in various parts of the world. She engages in food hub projects and supports cross-border investments to address famine and promote food security.
Dr. Vongvorakit's leadership is characterized by her commitment to honesty, clear direction, creativity, and gratitude.
